COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) – A woman has been charged in the hit-and-run death of a 74-year-old woman.

KRCG-TV reports 36-year-old Amy Rievley, of Glasgow, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Sharon Uebingerm, of Centralia. She is jailed without bond. No attorney is listed for her in online court records.

Rievley is suspected of striking Uebingerm with her sport utility vehicle around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday in Centralia and then fleeing the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Howard County deputy later stopped her near Fayette.

She initially was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. New charges were filed after the victim died Wednesday.
