Both of the Mountain Home American Legion Baseball teams posted wins Thursday to open the 34th Annual Mickey Huskey Twin Lakes Classic at Cooper Park.
The Lockeroom rallied to pick up a 6-3 win over Gossett Motors out of Memphis. The Lockeroom improves to 6-5 on the season.
The MacLeod team defeated Harrison 7-5. Tate Isaacs led the offense with two doubles, two runs batted in and two runs. Bryan Benedict got the win in relief, and Reed Ellison notched the save.
In other action Thursday, Pontotoc, Mississippi, slid past Batesville 9-6, Russellville downed Paragould 11-5 and Scott City, Missouri, run-ruled North Central Arkansas 10-0.
