Mountain Home High School’s Athletic Department is continuing its run of seniors signing to compete on the collegiate level. Leah Jackson signed a national letter of intent Wednesday to join the volleyball program at Evangel University.
Jackson says her decision to become a Crusader came after visiting the Springfield campus.

Jackson says Evangel is lacking in the setter position, so she is hoping to have an impact on the team soon.

Jackson is coming off a senior season in which she was named to the All-State volleyball team. She helped lead the Lady Bombers to a 5A-East runner-up finish and the quarterfinals of the Class 5A State Tournament. Jackson was also a part of Mountain Home’s girls’ basketball program that advanced to the state semifinals during the last two seasons. She says being a part of the Mountain Home athletic program has prepared her for the next level.
