The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team began the Glen Sain GMC Tournament on a rough note Friday in Paragould. The top-seeded Lockeroom fell 16-8 to the Southeast Tropics from Scott City, Missouri.
Jim Strider led the Mountain Home offense as he drove in three runs, and Josh Prinner had three base hits.
The Lockeroom falls to 9-8 and will return to the field Saturday for a 1:00 game in the consolation bracket against Pontotoc, Mississippi.
