Stone County authorities are seeking an Independence County man, 37-year-old Jason Chad Hall of Batesville, wanted on a charge of third-degree domestic battery against a woman known to be pregnant. If convicted of the charge, Hall could be sentenced up to six years in prison and fined up to $10,000.According to the probable cause affidavit, deputies responded to a domestic incident at a campsite along Sylamore Creek Road near Mountain View last Wednesday. While en route, dispatch advised Hall had fled the scene.

The victim told deputies Hall had allegedly struck her in the face, choked her, placed his hands over her mouth, knocked her down and drug her across the camper floor. The victim is eight months pregnant.

According to witnesses, other people approached the camper and attempted to grab Hall and pulled him off the victim. The witnesses informed deputies they heard the victim pleading with Hall to stop.

When they attempted to intervene, Hall got away from them, got into his vehicle and sped off, reportedly almost striking an individual.

The victim advised this is the fourth time she has been in a domestic incident with Hall and called law enforcement.

Stone County authorities issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) advisory for Hall and his vehicle.

Shortly after, officers from the Izard County Sheriff’s Department advised they were in pursuit of the vehicle traveling north toward Violet Hill.

However, the Izard County deputies were unsuccessful in capturing Hall, as he was able to evade them.

Hall is out on bond on charges of false imprisonment and felony domestic battery on the same victim in Independence County.

He has been convicted of four or more felonies. His criminal history includes fleeing, resisting arrest and failure to appear.

Bond on the latest charges is set at $50,000.
