While the Ozark Folk Center at Mountain View is open for visitors, all scheduled music concerts and programs have been canceled through July.
An Ozark Folk Center State Park Facebook post advises, in addition, the Old-Time Fiddle Weekend originally scheduled for Aug. 6-8, the Grandpa and Ramona Jones Banjo Weekend originally set for Aug. 27-29, and Dance Days originally on tap for Sept. 11-13 have also been canceled.
Rescheduled events and dates will be announced starting in January.
While the post does not specify the reason for the cancellation of the music concerts and programs, it is presumed the action was taken due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
