MacLeod Legion team wraps up regular season by splitting with Tuckerman

The Mountain Home MacLeod American Legion baseball team wrapped up the regular season by splitting a double header at home against Tuckerman Thursday night.

Tuckerman won the first game 7-6. Rhett Carter led the offense for MacLeod by going three for five with two doubles and a run batted in. Reed Ellison started on the hill for Mountain Home and struck out eight in four innings. He did not factor into the decision.

In the second game, Mountain Home topped Tuckerman 11-6. Keegan Rickman paced the MacLeod offense by going two for three and driving in two runs. Landon Byrd and Wyatt Goodman each had a hit and a walk.

MacLeod will be off until July 22, when they open the Arkansas American Legion AA State Tournament at Fort Smith against the host team.
