Lockeroom splits with Batesville

The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team ended up with mixed results on the road Saturday. The Lockeroom came away with a split against Batesville.

Mountain Home began the evening by defeating Batesville 10-3. Dawson Tabor picked up the win, as he pitched four innings and struck out three batters. Tabor also provided plenty of offense, as he drove in three runs. Also for the Lockeroom, Noah Everett recorded three base hits, Chase Orf had two hits, and Tyler Guffey and Josh Prinner each had two RBIs.

Mountain Home also had plenty of offense in the second game, but it wasn’t enough, as they fell to Batesville 9-6. Prinner led the Lockeroom with two hits and two RBIs.

Mountain Home is now 14-13 on the season, and they’ll have their home finale of the regular season Monday when they host Harrison.
