A Mountain Home man arrested when he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time entered a plea of guilty to charges against him during a video session of Baxter County Circuit Court July 8.

Thirty-nine-year-old Adrian Ricardo Brown was sentenced to five years probation by Circuit Judge Gordon Webb. Brown was arrested after being found in a home located along Arkansas Highway 126 North in Midway when officers went there looking for a man with an outstanding arrest warrant.

The officers reported Brown and a female were also in the residence, and various items of drug-related paraphernalia were in plain view. A white residue in one of several smoking pipes seized field tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Brown was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
