The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team wrapped up the regular season Saturday with mixed results. The Lockeroom was in makeup action and ended up splitting a doubleheader at Paragould.

Mountain Home gave up five runs in the sixth inning of the first game and fell to Paragould 6-1. Will Gross drove in the Lockeroom’s only run of the game.

Mountain Home fared better in the late game, as they used a seven-run fifth inning to defeat Paragould 9-4. Dawson Tabor recorded three strikeouts in two innings of work on the mound, and he provided plenty of offense with two RBIs. Also for the Lockeroom, Chase Orf had two hits and an RBI, and Rhett Carter and Will Uchtman each added two hits.

Mountain Home improves to 17-14 on the season and will head to Bryant Tuesday, as they meet Texarkana to begin the Arkansas American Legion AAA State Tournament.
