The Mountain Home Lockeroom baseball team began the Arkansas American Legion AAA State Tournament on a rough note. The Lockeroom went to Bryant on Tuesday and suffered an 8-4 loss to Texarkana.
Will Gross ended up driving in two runs for Mountain Home. On the mound, Dawson Tabor recorded two strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings of work.
The Lockeroom drops to 17-15 on the season and will return to Bryant Thursday afternoon for an elimination game.
