The Gassville City Council held its regular July meeting Tuesday night, and Mayor Jeff Braim says finances are now in place for the wasterwater expansion project, following action by the council.

The council continued discussion of an ordinance to make the city attorney an appointed position.

The Gassville City Council also discussed an application for a rural community grant for the fire department for extrication equipment and approved a resolution concerning it.
The council tabled discussion on the possible construction of a drive-thru window service at Gassville City Hall, until they see if it will fit into next year’s budget.
