A two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon just north of the Arkansas-Missouri state line on Missouri Highway 5 injured the driver of a motorcycle.Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Sherry Parton of Yellville traveled into the path of the motorcycle driven by 57-year-old Floyd W. Collins of Gainesville.
Collins was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment of what were described in the report as “moderate” injuries.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the 2:15 p.m. accident.
