A boil water order for customers of Mountain View Waterworks in Stone County has been lifted, according to the Arkansas Department of Health’s (ADH) website.
The order was put in place Thursday, after the water system experienced a leak in a main line at Arkansas Highway 87 and Barnes Avenue.
Meanwhile the ADH site indicates a boil order remains in place for customers of the West Stone County Water Association in Searcy, Stone and Van Buren counties.
Water intended for consumption should be boiled for five minutes before being used. The order will remain in effect until samples are cleared by the ADH.
