The closure of the Izard County Courthouse has been extended for another week, after more employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Judge Eric Smith announced Monday the courthouse and annex in Melbourne are currently expected to reopen to the public next week.
A Facebook post from the Izard County Office of Emergency Management says the county has reached 10 positive cases. Three of the confirmed positive results are from county employees.
Those with business needing to be taken care of can call the office they need to visit or go online to izardcounty.org.
