A vacant position on the Baxter County Quorum Court has been filled with a governor’s appointment.
Dale Hershberger of Midway has been appointed to fill the vacancy for the District 2 justice of the peace position. The quorum court declared the vacancy in May, following the death of JP Luci Soltysik.The term expires Dec. 31.
