As concerns over COVID-19 continue, North Arkansas Electric Cooperative has announced the cancellation of one of its biggest fundraising events. The Operation Round Up Golf Classic will not be held this year at the Cherokee Village South Course.
Proceeds from the tournament go to scholarships for local high school graduates attending Arkansas State University-Mountain Home and Ozarka College in Melbourne. According to the cooperative, proceeds from last year’s event will provide $1,000 scholarships to 10 students for the upcoming school year.
