Athletics for the 2020-2021 school year get underway Monday with the start of the high school golf season, and Mountain Home begins the campaign by hosting one of the biggest events in Arkansas. The Ultimate Auto Group High School Invitational will start its two-day run at Big Creek Golf and Country Club.
Tim Carver is beginning his second season at the helm of the golf programs for the Bombers and Lady Bombers. He says even with the current health situation, the teams have prepared well for the season.

Mountain Home’s girls wrapped up the 2019 season with their third consecutive conference championship and a third place finish in the Class 5A State Tournament. The Bomber boys were third in the 5A-East and sixth in the state. Carver says both teams have a lot of talent returning this year.
