Cabot sweeps Ultimate Auto Group HS Invitational; MH girls finish 2nd, boys take 5th

The Ultimate Auto Group High School Invitational came to an end with Cabot picking up all the top honors. The Panthers and Lady Panthers were able to sweep the tournament Tuesday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club to open the golf season.

Cabot’s two-day total on the girls’ side was 481, finishing ahead of second-place Mountain Home at 537. Emmerson Doyle of Cabot was the medalist with a 150. For the Lady Bombers, Reagan Webb was sixth with a 178, Ella Brashears finished seventh with a 179, Hayley Czeschin ended up eighth with a 180, Lauren Loving took 15th place with a 203, and Grace Hilvert was 31st with a 256.

On the boys’ side, Cabot finished with a two-day total of 600. Mountain Home was fifth at 692. Cabot’s Carson Stephens ended up as the medalist with a seven-under-par 137. For the Bombers, Gage Chaney finished 14th with a 169, Rip Finley ended up 16th with a 170, Weston Hoover took 19th place with a 171, Will Beckham was 25th with a 182, and Max Hough and Duncan Conly were 28th and 29th respectively, after both shot a 191.
