MHPS hosting back-to-school informational event Thursday evening

Mountain Home Public Schools will host a back-to-school, informational, town hall-type event both virtually and at Dunbar Auditorium on the high school campus on Thursday evening.Superintendent Dr. Jake Long will be joined by all seven building principals for the event, which will be carried live on KTLO 97.9 FM. Personnel will also be on hand to answer questions concerning transportation and student services, general technology, athletics, activities and counseling.

The district is soliciting questions for the event through its Facebook page, at facebook.com/bombersmh. All back-to-school questions must be submitted by Thursday morning at 9.

For anyone choosing not to attend in person, the forum will be streamed live on the Facebook page, which Long says has been quite successful for the district thus far in similar events.
