An area man was killed in an ATV accident Saturday afternoon in Carroll County. Fifty-one-year-old Eddie Griffin of Branson was pronounced dead following the crash in Green Forest.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Griffin and his passenger, 38-year-old Rhonda Reyes of Reeds Spring, Missouri, were traveling on County Road 614. While negotiating a curve and attempting to avoid another vehicle, Griffin reportedly lost control. The ATV overturned, and he was ejected.
Reyes was injured in the 4:40 p.m. accident. She was transported to Cox Medical Center in Branson.
