The Turkey Trot festival held annually in October on the square in Yellville has joined the cancellation list due to COVID-19.
The Mid-Marion County Rotary Club-sponsored event has been canceled due to restrictions set in place by the state of Arkansas, according to a Facebook posting from the civic organization.
The group says it looks forward to celebrating the 75th annual Turkey Trot at a later date.
Turkey Trot has been an annual time for homecomings, reunions and traditions for many tourists, classmates, friends and family members since 1946.
