Those wishing to appeal their assessed property values have until Monday afternoon at 4:30 to schedule an appointment for a hearing with the Baxter County Board of Equalization. The deadline is set by state mandate. The board will be in session through Oct. 1.
Anyone wanting to make an appointment should contact the County Clerk’s Office at 870-425-3475.
The notice from the clerk’s office advises the County Equalization Board has authority only to address appraised and assessed property values. It does not deal with property taxes.
