A Benton County man is accused of breaking into a dozen vehicles at a Mountain Home apartment complex. Twenty-two-year-old Matthew Moore of Siloam Springs was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center late Monday afternoon and posted a $5,000 bond over four hours later.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Mountain Home officers were dispatched to the complex early Friday morning Aug. 7 for multiple break-ins. An officer informed an investigator the thefts were captured on video surveillance. The video reportedly shows the suspect driving into a complex in a vehicle with a missing front bumper. A white male exited and allegedly began going through other vehicles. The suspect was later identified as Moore.

Moore was interviewed at the Mountain Home Police Department on Monday and reportedly admitted to the break-ins. Twelve vehicles were broke into, with an unknown amount of restitution.

Moore faces 12 felony counts of breaking or entering and four felony counts of theft of property.
