The high school football season is inching closer in Arkansas, and for one area school, the opener is nearly a week away. Mountain View will begin its 2020 campaign next Thursday, Aug. 27, playing host to Fouke.
Yellowjackets’ head coach Michael Gray says his team has worked hard with summer preparations, and he’s pleased with what he’s seen in practice over the last couple of weeks.

Mountain View will have a preseason tuneup this week. The Yellowjackets are set to host Yellville-Summit for a benefit scrimmage on Thursday. Action begins at 6 p.m.
