The Missouri Department of Transportation is urging caution to area motorists with the upcoming start of another road construction project. Missouri Route JJ in Ozark and Douglas counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction from Monday through Sept. 14.

Weather permitting, contractor crews will overlay the roadway from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, including weekends as necessary. The section of Route JJ runs from Missouri Highway 95 in Ozark County to Missouri Highway 5 in Douglas County.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Flaggers will also be present, and traffic will be guided through the zone by a pilot car.
