WILLARD, Mo. (AP) – A former southwest Missouri soccer coach has been charged
with having sexual contact with a student 11 years ago. Forty-nine-year-old Tim
Magee was charged Saturday with three counts of second-degree statutory sodomy.
He was also fired Saturday as head soccer coach at Willard. Prosecutors say a
woman who was on the high school soccer team recently reported that she and
Magee had sexual encounters at his home in 2009. The girl was younger than 17 at
the time. Magee had been employed by the school district since 2005, teaching
special education and physical education. He stopped teaching but became boys
and girls soccer coach in 2008.
