The Mountain Home High School junior varsity football team opened the season Monday night in exciting fashion with a 22-20 win at West Plains. The Bombers stopped the Zizzers on fourth and goal at the 4-yard line to end the game.
Mountain Home’s scoring included Brady Barnett hitting Jaxon Hannaford with a touchdown pass, Masen Walker had a touchdown run and two-point conversion, Blake Bentley had a touchdown run and Shane Rowden caught a two-point conversion.
Bentley, Rowden and Aticus James each had fumble recoveries for the Bombers.
