ST. LOUIS (AP) – A teenager has died, days after suffering a head injury after hanging out of an SUV’s sunroof in St. Louis.

Seventeen-year-old William Jordan was injured Saturday night. Police say he died Wednesday at a hospital.

Police said that as an 18-year-old female drove the SUV inside a downtown parking garage, the teenager and two others had their heads hanging out of the sunroof.

Authorities aren’t sure if the victims struck a beam or fell, but police said the driver sped from the scene, leaving them behind.

An investigation continues. The other two victims, a 14-year-old girl and a 26-year-old man, remain hospitalized.
