MHHS tennis teams split at Van Buren

The Mountain Home High School tennis teams split their conference matches at Van Buren Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Bombers were 7-2 winners to improve their record to 3-1. Winning in singles play were Kenzie Hatman, Macie Heide, Sarah Godfrey and Riley Wilkerson. Picking up wins in doubles play were the teams of Godfrey and Heide, Cambelle Lance and Micaela McLean and Hatman and Christiana Sebree.

On the boys’ side, Mountain Home lost to the Pointers 5-4 and are now 1-2-1 on the season. Winners in singles action for Mountain Home were Alex Arp and Clayton Jones. Doubles winners included the teams of Arp and Jacob Czanstkowski, along with Jones and Cooper Oxford.

The Mountain Home tennis teams will travel to Russellville Tuesday to play Alma and Van Buren.
