JV Bombers roll past West Plains

The Mountain Home High School junior varsity football team celebrated Labor Day with a 38-18 blitzing of West Plains at Bomber Stadium. Mountain Home led 16-14 at the half, before outscoring the Zizzers 22-8 in the second half.

Masen Walker paced the Bombers’ offense with 19 carries for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and he had three two-point conversions. Also for Mountain Home, Dillon Drewry had a touchdown run; Jaxon Hannaford reeled in two catches, including a 61-yard touchdown; Tristan Hays had a touchdown catch; and quarterback Brady Barnett was 10 of 16 through the air for 137 yards and two TDs.

Justin Pruett paced the defense with two sacks.

The JV Bombers are 2-0 and will play again Monday at home against Harrison.
