The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is preparing for another local highway construction project. Missouri Route J in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane from Wednesday through Sept. 22.
The construction work will occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, and weekends may be necessary. MoDOT will have a width restriction of 10 feet, as contractor crews overlay the entirety of the roadway from U.S. Highway 160 to the state line where the road becomes Arkansas Highway 201.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Flaggers will also be present, and traffic will be guided through the zone by a pilot car.
