Cotter, Salem split volleyball matches Monday

In high school volleyball Monday night, Cotter was a 3-0 winner at Salem, winning by scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-18. For the Lady Greyhounds, Mackenzie Hill had three aces and two kills; Hannah Guffey finished with two kills and two blocks; Erica Tudor had two aces, two kills and one block; and Kyla Stevens added two aces and one kill.

Salem falls to 3-4 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

Salem won the junior high match 25-10 and 25-18. Marleigh Sellars led the Junior Lady Greyhounds with four kills, Maddie Keen had two kills and six assists, Alli Smith served seven aces, and Olivia Smith collected 13 digs and three aces.

The Salem junior girls are 5-2 overall and 4-2 in league play.
