Salem suffered its first loss of the high school football season on Friday. The Greyhounds went on the road and fell to Corning 32-14. Salem drops to 2-1 on the season and will return to the home field next week meeting Riverview to begin conference action.
Mountain View was able to pick up its first road win of the year. The Yellowjackets defeated Quitman by a final of 32-13. Mountain View improves to 3-1 on the year and heads to Hot Springs next Friday for its non-conference finale with Cutter-Morning Star.
