MHHS JV football team falls at home

The Mountain Home High School junior varsity football team lost at home Monday night, falling to Springfield Lighthouse Christian 39-32.

Offensively, for the JV Bombers, Masen Walker had 17 carries for 114 yards, three touchdowns and three two-point conversions; Brady Barnett completed 17 passes for 164 yards and carried in a two-point conversion; Colby Lockhart had 22 carries for 64 yards; Reece Ducker caught eight passes for 58 yards; and Daniel Jones had five receptions for 42 yards.

Defensively, Tristan Hayes returned an interception for a touchdown, and Weston May picked off a pass.

The JV Bombers are 2-2 on the season and will play again Oct. 5 at Batesville.
