Mountain Home tennis wins two from Highland

The Mountain Home High School tennis teams picked up a pair of wins at home Monday against Highland.

The Lady Bombers improved to 7-1 on the season with a 9-0 win. In singles play, Josie Arp and Kenzie Hatman each won two matches. In doubles action, the teams of Micaela McLean and Cambelle Lance won two matches, while the teams of Sarah Godfrey and Macie Heide, Riley Wilkerson and Bentleigh Croom and Wilkerson and Christiana Sebree each won one match.

The Bombers are now 4-2-2 on the season after a 6-4 win over the Rebels. Corey Palella earned the lone Mountain Home win in singles play. In doubles action, the teams of Alex Arp and Jacob Czanstkowski, along with Clayton Jones and Jake McGehee each won two matches, and Jace Godfrey and Cody Lance won one match.

The Mountain Home tennis teams will host Russellville Tuesday to wrap up the regular season and have senior night.
