Mountain Home tennis teams sweep Russellville in regular season finale

The Mountain Home High School tennis teams wrapped up the regular season with a pair of wins at home over Russellville.

The Bombers won 6-1 to improve their record to 5-2-2 on the season. In singles play, Corey Palella won two matches, and Armin Mortazi won one match. In doubles action, the team of Clayton Jones and Jake McGehee won two matches, and the team of Jacob Czanstkowski and Alex Arp won one match.

The Lady Bombers were 4-2 winners to move their record to 8-1. The doubles team of Sarah Godfrey and Macie Heide won two matches, while the teams of Micaela McLean and Cambelle Lance, along with Christiana Sebree and Riley Wilkerson each won one match.

The Mountain Home tennis teams will begin play in the 5A West Conference Tournament at Russellville High School and University of the Ozarks in Clarksville on Monday.
