High school football dominates the local Friday schedule, as Mountain Home begins another two-game home stand. The Bombers will meet one of the top teams in the state of Arkansas, as Greenwood comes to the Twin Lakes Area.
Mountain Home comes into the game at 2-2 on the season and 0-1 in the 6A-West. The Bombers began conference play last week with a two-touchdown loss at Lake Hamilton. Greenwood, ranked fourth overall and first in Class 6A by the Arkansas Sports Media, is playing its first league game after last week’s game with Little Rock Parkview was canceled. The Bulldogs added another game to their schedule and defeated Bentonville West to improve to 4-0.
Mountain Home head coach Steve Ary says his team needs to keep the ball away from Greenwood’s high-powered offense.
