MH takes 2 of 3 football games at Batesville

Mountain Home was able to take two wins in three football games Monday at Batesville.

The Seventh Grade Bombers swept their games with the Seventh Grade Pioneers. Mountain Home won the first game 28-14 and took the second game 20-7.

Mountain Home High School’s junior varsity squad did not fare as well falling to Batesville 23-12. Brady Barnett connected on a pass to Jaxon Hannaford for a score, and Blake Bently added a touchdown run. Reece Ducker had an interception for the JV Bombers, and Tristan Hayes and Dylan McBride each had fumble recoveries.

Mountain Home’s JV and seventh grade teams will head to Harrison on Monday.
