Business News: Local Arvest sales manager chosen for associate impact group

Arvest Bank has announced a new associate impact group as part of its diversity and inclusion initiative, and a member of its local team will be a part of the group. Mountain Home Branch Sales Manager Adrienne Blackwell will be an inaugural member of Arvest Bank’s Women of Work (WOW).

Blackwell says she considers it an honor to be named to the group and is looking forward to contributing.

WOW is one of eight new groups consisting of Arvest association from across its four-state footprint to be a part of the bank’s initiative. The groups are set up to increase cultural awareness and competence at Arvest and the communities it serves, contribute collaborative and relevant learning and development opportunities to help build a diverse pipeline of talent and serve as a strategic resource to work on complex initiatives supporting strategies across the banks four-state area.

Blackwell says the WOW group will focus specifically on issues relevant to women.

Blackwell goes on to say she has had years of experience juggling the roles of working mother, student, entrepreneur and wife, and those roles should assist in providing her input and perspective toward the group and its goals.
