A local school district has canceled all of its preseason basketball activities for this week due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the area. Mammoth Spring calls off its Blue-White games for Monday and its benefit games with Timbo set for Tuesday. The district is working on its COVID-19 plan on campus to allow for more social distancing among its students and staff. Mammoth Spring’s season begins next Monday, when it hosts four junior high games against Calico Rock.
