MH freshmen use ground attack to dominate Marshfield

The Mountain Home freshmen football team was able to rack up 301 rushing yards Monday on its way to a 35-13 victory at Marshfield.

Landon White led the ground attack with eight carries for 88 yards and a touchdown. Christian Cruse ran the ball seven times for 57 yards, Drew Lamey had a 47-yard run, William Cottengim finished with three carries for 39 yards and a two-point conversion, Ryder McClain had three carries for 36 yards and a touchdown, and Cade Yates added three runs for 24 yards and a score. Yates was also the Junior Bombers’ leading passer, as he went six of 13 for 55 yards and a touchdown.

Robert Dover led the Mountain Home defense with six tackles and a forced fumble, and Cottengim provided six tackles.
