The Mountain Home High School tennis teams were eliminated from the Class 5A State Tournament at Hot Springs Lakeside High School Monday, as all four doubles teams lost.
On the boys’ side, the team of Jake McGee and Clayton Jones won their first match against a team from Texarkana but lost in the second round to a team from Jonesboro. The team of Jacob Czanstkowski and Dodge Harris fell in the first round to a team from Lakeside.
On the girls’ side, the team of Sarah Godfrey and Christine Sebree lost in the first round to a team from West Memphis. The team of Micaela McLean and Cambelle Lance fell in the first round to a team from Jonesboro.
