Tuesday’s local sports schedule includes preseason basketball and postseason softball.
In basketball, Norfork hosts Omaha for a pair of junior high benefit games, Viola will hold its Black-Orange games, and Jasper will play its Black-White games.
Two area softball teams will begin district play.
West Plains will be in Marshfield for its opener in the Class 4, District 5 Tournament. The Lady Zizzers face the host Lady Jays at 3 p.m.
Branson heads to Monett for its first game in the Class 4, District 6 Tournament. The Lady Pirates take on Neosho at 6.
