Salem volleyball teams split with Highland

The Salem volleyball teams split their matches at home against Highland Monday.

In the high school match, Highland was a 3-0 winner, winning by scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-21.

For Salem, who falls to 10-7 on the season, Samantha Guiltner had 28 digs; Grace Benedict finished with 17 digs, four assists and two aces; Maddie Miller had 11 digs and six assists; Hannah Guffey collected seven kills; Kyla Stevens had three kills; Mackenzie Hill finished with 15 digs and five aces; Pilar Rosado had four kills, Chelsea Hamilton had three blocks and three digs; and Erica Tudor finished with two blocks.

Salem won the junior high match by scores of 25-17 and 25-20 to finish the season with a record of 15-2.

Maddie Keen had 11 digs, seven kills, six assists and three aces; Alli Smith finished with five digs, five assists and five aces; Marleigh Sellars had nine kills, three digs and two assists; Olivia Smith collected 44 digs and six assists; Madi Price had three kills and three digs; Callie Hall finished with three kills and three digs; Katie Fish had 10 digs; Chloe Taylor had nine digs and Allyson Tanner had six digs.
