High school football makes up much of the local Friday schedule, as Mountain Home will have the first of two consecutive road trips. The Bombers will go down toward the Saline River, as they meet Benton.

Mountain Home is 3-3 on the season and 1-2 in the 6A-West. The Bombers are coming off a 12-point homecoming victory over Van Buren. Benton is ranked ninth overall and third in Class 6A by the Arkansas Sports Media. The Panthers are 4-2 and 3-0 after topping Little Rock Parkview last week.

Bombers’ head coach Steve Ary says his team needs to be ready for the Panthers’ air attack.
