The athletic and counseling departments at Mountain Home High School Career Academies is giving student athletes and parents an opportunity to learn about college eligibility. An educational session is scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m. at Bomber Gymnasium.
High school juniors and seniors will be given information for considering playing a sport for an institution in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Mountain Home Athletic Director Mitch Huskey and counselor Heather Hatman will discuss various ways of being discovered (camps, recruiting services, letters, emails).
