After closing last week due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, the Marion County Transfer Station is back open starting Monday. Those dropping off items do not have to get out of their vehicle, but if they do, they are encouraged to wear a mask.
The Marion County Transfer Station is open from 7-4 weekdays and 8-noon the first and third Saturdays of the month and is located at the junction of U.S. Highway 62/412 and State Highway 202.
