Customers of the Mountain View Waterworks, located two-and-a-half miles south of Main Street on South Bayou Drive to Arkansas Highway 5 South are under a boil order. The order also includes those from Main Street south on Arkansas Highway 5 for 2.8 miles. In addition, customers on all roads connected to the mentioned areas are impacted by the order.
The Arkansas Department of Health’s (ADH) website notes the precautionary boil order was put in place due to a main break.
Water intended for consumption in these areas should be boiled for five minutes before being used. The order will remain in effect until samples are cleared by the ADH.
