On Saturday, the Mountain Home High School choirs competed virtually in the Region 6 competition. This normally in-person event was converted to a virtual audition due to COVID-19 restrictions. Students spent time both at school and at home, learning music and sent in recordings in order to earn a spot in the Region Choir. Sixteen Mountain Home students placed in the All Region Choir. Those students are:

Soprano 1: *Liz Chamberlin, Emma Scott, Isabelle Babin
Soprano 2: *Zoe Croom, Abigail Chamberlin
Alto 1: *Haylee Johnson, Mallory Pierski, Nicole Castellani, Kinsey Taylor
Alto 2: *Ella McCurley, *Carlie Corales, Brianna Ifland
Tenor 1: *Cayden Sabella
Tenor 2: Jayden Henson
Bass 2: *Hayden Moore, Lane Mattey.

Students with * will be eligible to audition for All- State in the spring.

Directors Laken and Jeremy Hopper are especially proud of the independent work and dedication the students showed through what has been a very difficult time for choir programs. From singing masked, outside under a large tent, in the school courtyard and largely at home, the students have shown such resilience and commitment this year.
